Software
ARCTIC centrally manages more than 165 software packages. Software is managed by a module system that facilitates managing different versions of the same software. Georgia State has university-wide licenses for Matlab and SAS, five network licenses for STATA MP (24-core), 5 floating licenses for Intel Cluster Studio which include development tools for OpenMP and MPI programs; and a PGI compiler which includes development tools for openACC GPU based codes (www.openacc.org). The current high-performance computing environment has widespread software support for the Bioinformatics, Image Analysis, and Computational Chemistry needs already in place.
