ARCTIC Code Optimization Research Assistantship (CORA)
Starting Fall 2022, ARCTIC will offer two GRA positions for graduate students who are actively working in a computational research group. Students will learn HPC profiling, benchmarking, and coding to accelerate current compute times within their project. Students should satisfy the following requirements:
- Actively using ARCTIC Advanced cyberinfrastructure for computational research with another research group.
- Sufficient understanding of the code base in question and ability to explain functionality and operation to technical staff
CORA will provide a 20% FTE GRA position at ARCTIC and will be paid $600/month. Students are required to continue work with their current research group at 30% FTE and will be paid by the research group for their effort.
